Home visit booking for blood tests
Patients book a home blood test online by entering their postcode. Drawn only offers home visits where you go, keeps travel time free between visits, and adds your visit fee, so your phlebotomists' days work on the road as well as on paper.

How it works
How does home visit booking work?
You tell Drawn the postcode districts you cover. A patient chooses a home visit and enters their postcode. If you go there, they see the times your phlebotomists are free in that area. If you don't, they're offered your clinic instead.
- 01
Add a home visit area
Name it, and list the postcode districts it covers, such as BS1, BS6 and BS7. - 02
Set the travel time
The minutes kept free before and after each visit, to get from one home to the next. - 03
Set a visit fee
If you charge one. It's added once to each home visit, however many tests are booked. - 04
Give your team hours
Weekly hours in the area for whoever does the visits. - 05
Choose the tests
Each test can be offered at the clinic, at home, or both.
Travel time
Never late all morning
Generic booking tools offer back to back slots, so a phlebotomist booked at 08:00 in one street and 08:15 across town is late for everyone after. Drawn keeps the travel time you set free before and after every home visit.
Patients are never offered a time your phlebotomist can't reach, and each person's day plan shows the journeys blocked out.

Visit fees
Set a fee for each area. Patients see it before they choose a time, and it's part of what they pay if you take payment online.Fasting tests at home
The same rules as at the clinic: fasting tests are offered early, and the reminder the evening before says when to stop eating. See fasting and preparation.Outside your area
Patients in a postcode you don't cover are told you don't visit there yet, and offered your clinic instead.Home visits and a clinic, together
Patients choose at the start of booking, and each phlebotomist's day plan shows every appointment in order, wherever it is.
In your dashboard
Your areas, in one place
Clinic addresses and home visit areas sit side by side under Locations, each with its postcodes, travel time and fee. Close an area for a while without losing bookings already made. The full steps are in Locations and home visits.
